Englewood Middle School

Established in 2007, Englewood Middle School in Englewood School District was created by merging the students and staffs of the former Flood and Sinclair Middle Schools in Englewood School District. It has developed into a caring community of 6th-8th graders, blending a sound academic curriculum with a strong elective program. Englewood Middle School staff understands student's complex needs at this important time in their lives and provides assistance to struggling students in core subjects throughout the day. Additionally, EMS offers a variety of electives in which a student can explore his or her interests as well.

Moore Middle School

Moore Middle School in Jeffco Public Schools serves 7th-8th graders in Arvada, Colorado. Moore Middle is a community that works to provide each student a supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. At Moore, the practice of respectful, responsible behaviors is woven throughout the day: in classrooms, on the playfield, and within the rigorous, purposeful, instruction provided in each class. Moore recognizes all children need to succeed in many areas. We provide mentoring for our incoming 7th graders through the "Where Everyone Belongs" (WEB) program and provide positive support through our Rachel's Challenge--Links program. Student Council is where our budding leaders learn and model consensus building. Students leave Moore ready not only for the challenges of high school, but ready to be lifelong learners and leaders.

Ken Caryl Middle School

Ken Caryl Middle School in Jeffco Public Schools serves 7th-8th graders in Littleton, Colorado. Ken Caryl Middle School offers a comprehensive shared community leadership approach. Honors classes are available for students interested in advanced placement classes in high school. The Gifted and Talented program is for those students that qualify. Special Education is offered. Instructional practices are monitored and evaluated to ensure student success. Technology is a catalyst and a tool for research and academics. A variety of interventions are utilized such as parent portal for checking grades, after school labs, remedial classes to assist students.
